How to get abs

We all want abs or a nice 6 pack but as I said in another post, it’s truthfully easier said than done. Especially because you have to work out lower abs and upper abs in order to get that proportional symmetrical look.

It’s already hard to get them, now the new goal is to maximize them. You could think you already know this stuff but what will actually happen is your 6 pack will end up looking weird and strange.

If you want lean ripped muscles, you need to start by providing the right amount of stress, growth time and most importantly, the right nutrition for your body and metabolism. With the help of the all natural Somanabolic Muscle Maximizer and it’s personal training diet, you will achieve your potential and a rock solid 6 pack in weeks.

Which Body Type Are You?

Since the Muscle Maximizer emphasizes on a proper nutrition diet, you should at least know which Somatotype or body type best describes you. There are 3 different Somatotypes: ectomorph, endomorph and mesomorph. There are many different factors which characterizes your body type but a global visual picture is always best.

Ectomorph: Thin individuals which usually have a smaller bone structure and thinner limbs such as endurance athletes. Ectomorphs usually have a fast metabolic rate and a higher carbohydrate tolerance. Because of the fast metabolic rate, ectomorphs reach their potential on higher carbs diet with moderate protein intake and lower fat in diet. Ectomorph diet should be around 55% carbs, 25% protein and 20% fat.

Endomorph: Individuals with a larger bone structure with higher amounts of total body and fat mass such as power lifters. Endomorph usually have a greater propensity to store energy both in lean and fat compartments. Because of their metabolic rate, endomoprh usually have a lower carbohydrate tolerance. Endomorph reach their potential on a higher fat and protein intake with carbohydrates. Endomorph diet should be around 25% carbs, 35% protein and 40% fat.

Mesomorph: Individuals with a medium size bone structure with athletic body which can hold a significant amount of lean mass such as gymnasts. Mesomorph usually have a greater propensity for muscle gain and the maintenance of low body fat. Mesomorphs reach their potential on a diet where carbohydrates, proteins and fats are well balanced. Mesomorphs diet should be around 40% carbohydrate, 30% protein and 30% fat.

Now that you know which body type you can relate to, another really and crucial part for developing abs and muscles in general is by having an established work out schedule with the proper rest time schedule. Since your muscles only builds up when you rest, you cannot work out everyday. Speaking of growth time, here is a nice video of Kyle Leon and his perspective towards sleep and stress.

Work out lower abs important exercises

Your abs exercises are not working? Or having trouble to execute them?

Here are 3 different exercises which are good to start for building up your abs.

Reverse crunches: lie flat on the floor with shoulders and head slightly off the floor. Place your hands beside your hips, palms down. Lift your legs up and bend your knees so it is at an 90 degree angle. Bring your upper body to your knees just as you would do with normal crunches and bring it back slowly to the starting position.

Hanging knee raises: having a pull up bar is a great addition to your home fitness equipment. Hang from the bar straight and bring your knees to your chest, bring them down and so on.

Swiss ball sit-ups: I strongly recommend having a Swiss ball, not only are they cheap (around 10$) but they are also very comfortable, much more than a mat on the floor. Sit on the ball and move your upper body all the way back or as much as you can and bring it forward.

It’s hard to get lean ripped muscles, not mentioning having a good plan for abs to get the physique you want. If you use those exercises in your work out, it will definitely help you to get a start.

One tip, if you want a fast way to get the body you need, than think about nutrition and that doesn’t mean just eating healthy.

Zack's 30lbs-12 weeks

Ok so I just wanted to update my website because it seems there is a new thread which is called planking. Well guess what?! There is now a planking exercise that will help define your  abs and also  strengthen your back, how cool is that!

Planking:

You need to lie face down on preferably a mat since you will be resting on your forearms. Now raise your toes while resting on your elbows. Maintain your back flat just like you were doing pushups. You can do variations by twisting your abdominal area to reach more muscles. Each steps should be for about 30 sec and should be done for about 5 reps.
